Launch: Gig Workers Resource Hub

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new Gig Workers Resource Hub.

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new Gig Workers Resource Hub which provides:

  • Short summaries of common issues and the legal options available.
  • A downloadable Fact Sheet on gig economy issues.
  • Illustrative case studies highlighting common issues faced by gig workers.
  • Referrals to different government agencies and other centres that might be able to assist.

There is work underway by both federal and state governments to strengthen protections for gig economy workers. The Victorian Government has established the Gig Worker Support Service.

Additionally, JobWatch is also here to support gig economy workers with their rights.

We thank the Victorian Government’s Gig Worker Support Service for their support of this important initiative.
