Reddit AMA for Victorian Law Week 2023

To mark Victorian Law Week 2023, JobWatch will be hosting our first-ever Reddit Ask Me Anything (AMA) on /r/melbourne from 3-4pm on Thursday 18 May 2023.

March 09, 2023

To mark Victorian Law Week 2023, JobWatch will be hosting our first-ever Reddit Ask Me Anything (AMA) on /r/melbourne from 3-4pm on Thursday 18 May 2023.

The Reddit post can be found here, and Victorians are encouraged to ask their employment law questions in the thread. Our lawyers will jump on between 3-4pm to answer as many questions as possible!

Remember, there are a few critical things we will typically need to know about your situation in order to give the most accurate legal information:

  • What type of worker you are – e.g. permanent, casual, independent contractor
  • Your terms of employment – e.g. employment contract, Enterprise Agreement, Modern Award
  • How long you have been working there – e.g. 3 months, 2 years
  • How large your employer is – e.g. more or less than 15 employees

Thank you to the moderators of /r/melbourne for their assistance with this AMA!
