JobWatch executive director Zana Bytheway says the rise of parental and pregnancy discrimination complaints is concerning, yet the issue is longstanding.
“Often employers view pregnancy as a huge inconvenience, a disruption to work, a financial impost. It is no great surprise that this sentiment creates enormous stress to women during what should be one of the happiest times in their lives.” she said.
